Fay is the author of three hilarious memoirs about lesbian life, politics and her beloved hometown Rehoboth Beach, DE.

She is Publisher and Managing Editor of A&M Books, a successor to the legendary Naiad Press. A&M Books is the publisher of the 14 classic Sarah Aldridge novels, all still in print and some in e-book! A&M Books is also the publisher for the comic Frying Trilogy by Fay Jacobs as well as the novel The Carousel by Stefani Deoul and Out of Step, a memoir by J. Lee Watton.

Fay has contributed feature stories & columns to such publications as The Washington Post, The Advocate, OutTraveler, Curve magazine, The Washington Blade, and more.

She and Bonnie, her partner of almost 30 years, have two Miniature Schnauzers and a riding lawn mower.
