Bettina Morello
Bettina Morello is an Esoteric Interpreter/Lecturer pioneering the restoration of Gnostic Sophia Wisdom traditions, with Early Christian texts and Ancient Hebrew Wisdom teachings. Bettina has studied and practiced very ancient hidden teachings that are buried in mysterious symbols and code words for over 28 years. She steeps herself in ancient Merkavah Mysticism, Apocalyptic Enoch literature, Alchemy, Tarot, Sufism, 4th Way, Star lore and Superstring Theory to formulate a living experience with transformative elements that can help awaken us to our true self and place in the Universe. With her background in American Transcendentalism Poetry and Jungian Psychology, she has enriched her ability to understand and unify what seem like discordant elements into a self discipline for consciousness raising and spiritual growth of our mind and heart.
By transforming all negative emotions into positive energy it is possible to experience a self transformation that is both mystical and material simultaneously. There is a reality hidden from us because of our own level of consciousness and limited experience of five senses. She believes Dickinson and Emerson lived this higher consciousness and encouraged others to learn how to change suffering into salvation. With mere words and human courage, Emerson helped to free thousands of slaves by appealing to men’s hearts and minds. Dickinson experienced the inner isolation Emerson sought to discover through nature as she traveled to the very depths of the abyss and back into the heights of Heaven in search of her lost love. Bettina believes we too are in search of our own lost love.
Bettina has combined her understanding of spirituality and science to help reconnect others who are interested in journeying back to a higher consciousness and heightened sense of reality. After encountering tribulations and trials through discrimination, racism, sexism, religious persecution, depression, sickness and death – she is even more certain that all these challenges have a purpose and reason in our lives. She wants to share her own message of how to overcome. Overcoming the stage of being a victim to one of being the victor is the first step on the path of inner transformation. This is the message she wants to share through her poetry and writing that is a mixture of all these themes and personal experiences that led to her own inner transformation.
She graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Marygrove College where she won the Amy S McComb–Frederick P Currier writing award for: Edwidge Danticat’s War of Words an essay on Danticat’s short stories that deal with the prevailing plight of spiritual women in a patriarchal society. While in Canada she published Timeless Kingdom: A Study in Son of Man, Science and Sefer Yetzirah, in 2005 a non-fiction work on the role of the Son of Man in the: Tabernacle Pattern, New Testament, Apocalyptic literature, Hebrew Mysticism and Quantum Mechanics. As Proctor for her Professor’s Philosophy and Religious studies classes she enjoyed engaging in lively debates that helped students to see the multitude of ideas once overlooked, she also served as an English tutor in the writing center. She studied Psychology and Hebrew at Wayne State University before transferring to Marygrove College where she studied Ancient Religious Studies and delivered lectures on early Christianity for her Senior Project. Most recently she has been inducted into the Ordre Martiniste of North America to complete her initiation for the First Associates degree in an Esoteric Christianity Lodge.
As a way of giving back to the community she prepares fixed star charts and combines her understanding and experience with Tarot symbolism to help others see into their own inner self to transform negative energy into positive life affirming awareness. Her recent research into the 13th sign Ophiuchus led her back to the Pistis Sophia texts and its doctrine of a 13th Aeon with a renewed understanding and sense of how these two ideas share many similar traits. The 13th Aeon is the beginning of a new dispensation of ages. According to these concepts, escaping the fate of our stars is possible if a person can enter back into their true self which is in the center of 12 warring factions of a zodiac belt that keeps the way to the Tree of Life blocked. Knowing oneself is the key to returning to the Beginning or Paradise where all things point to a Unity and purpose. Ophiuchus will soon be aligned in the center of the Galactic Milky Way and in 2012 it remains to be seen what will occur. Many forecast negative reports, but her findings have convinced her that everything is pointing to the center of the soul and the Universe this is where the greatest influences will be experienced by us all. Ms. Morello has always loved to write poetry since her early years, but only after studying poetry years later and finding her own spiritual voice has she decided to share some of them with others in the hope that others will awaken from the slumber of the ego to the true ‘self’ living in the center of their soul.
